LinkedIn Labs Launches “This is Your Life” Visualization
LinkedIn showed off a new addition to its Lab site today called the LinkedIn Connection Timeline. It’s a very fun way to remember people you used to work with throughout the years - and see where they are now. Built internally by LinkedIn’s Gordon Koo, the visualization does a good job illustrating the tip of the iceberg of what structured, social data can provide when accessed programmatically.
The Social List includes FourSquare activity in online influence rankings
As if the world didn’t already have enough sites to measure social influence, the Sunday Times has jumped on the bandwagon with their new Social List. It takes into account your Facebook and Twitter stats, of course, but adds an extra element: foursquare checkins.
The Social List is the first site to consider foursquare checkins when calculating social influence. Their site links to your foursquare account to read your checkins, just as it does with Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn.

Many of our users loved the Year in Review email’s personalized content and design (by Moses Ting), and thought it was a great opportunity to reconnect with people in their networks.
